In philanthropy, Dr. Dominic Lam and  his chairman Dr. David Paton founded Project Orbis, the charitable flying eye hospital, and went to China on its maiden voyage in 1982. Orbis to-date has successfully cured millions of peolple worldwide of eye disorders for free.

Dr. Dominic Lam has received numerous honors & UN art awards for his paintings. He was invited in 2002 to paint ”A Galaxy on Earth” 10m x 8m to be permanently displayed at Diayutai State of Guest House at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing.

 

Dr. Dominic Lam had sculpted a pair of ”Peace of Dove” was being exhibited in the Louv Museum Paris in 2019.

 

Dr.Dominic Man-Kit Lam was appointed by President Bush as a member of the U.S. Presidential Council on Arts and Humanities.
